Our timeline for productions vary slightly based on the type of project, but are pretty easy to predict and are discussed during your free design consultation. Special requests should be brought up during this time, especially if they will take a lot of extra time to complete throughout the course of the production. Typically, regular exterior paint projects take about 2-3 days to complete, and ones with stucco take an estimated 3-4 days. For interior projects, the timeline is usually closer to 3-5 days of production, but may take a few more days for large projects or extra coats of paint upon request. Prior to any of these types of productions, however, we must have clean surfaces on the areas that need painting that are free of furniture, debris, or other clutter. While interior surfaces are typically already clean enough for work to begin, we often need to clean exteriors prior to production because of the beating they receive from weather and the outside world. This process can take anywhere from 3-5 days, and is done by applying a cleaning solution and manually wiping walls clean before allowing them to dry for 1-2 days. A dry surface is absolutely necessary to ensure a high-quality finish and will dramatically extend the life of paint.
